FSU LAW WINS TWO ABA NATIONAL AWARDS

The American Bar Association (ABA) has honored the Florida State University College of Law Student Bar Association (SBA) and Public Interest Law Center (PILC) with awards for their respective achievements during the 2018-2019 school year. This is the third time in a row and eighth time overall that SBA has won SBA of the year from the ABA. Further, the PILC has worked hard in the realm of children’s advocacy in respect to proving innocent persons who were convicted criminally as children. We are proud of both our stellar organizations.

FSU SBA Again Wins Top National Award From American Bar Association

For the seventh time since 2008 and the second consecutive year, the Florida State University College of Law Student Bar Association (SBA) received the National Achievement Award, which honors the best SBA in the nation, from the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Law Student Division. The award is also known as the SBA of the Year Award and was presented Saturday, August 4, at the ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago. It recognizes the efforts of an SBA organization to create a better environment for law students and a more positive image of the legal profession. Top law schools from around the nation competed for the award.

August 2017 - FSU SBA wins the ABA LSD National Achievement Award

The 2016-17 FSU Student Bar Association was recognized as the top SBA Chapter in the nation at the 2017 ABA Annual Meeting. FSU SBA has been awarded this honor six times in the last ten years.
